Wikipedia
It took Bobbot 232 random link jumps before he came across a page on Wikipedia – the source of all human knowledge. It wasn’t just any boring old Wikipedia page either, it’s the actual Wikipedia page about Wikipedia. It’s like a loop type thing. Or perhaps not.
But most importantly. Bobbot found a Bob! A guy called Bob Park is mentioned in the notes. Could this be THE Bob? It’s not impossible.

Taxi Marrakchi
Bobbot is in pseudo-Africa. He stands with one foot in Morocco, but the web server is located in the United States. Confusing.
Bobbot is amazed, however. Amazed at this website. Everyone should have a look. Click the link! Somewhere, at some time, someone probably got paid for designing it. Amazing.
Bobbot has been looking for an annoying gif animation, and here it is:

GIF rocks!

Webmaster Hub
Has Bobbot died and went to silicon heaven? No, he’s just been stuck in the deep and cold swamps that is French SEO. After several link farms and directories Bobbot now sees a small light at the end of the tunnel when he reaches civilisation again at the Webmaster Hub. At least there are some people there discussing things, eventhough Bobbot has no idea what they are saying. He believes they are discussing back links, do-follows, social media and Google PR though.
Bob has not been found.

ClickHeat
Thanks to the OpenSource Clicks heatmaps of ClickHeat, Bobbot gets to visit France. How lovely!
In France, Bob may be known as Böbb.

2010 Virgin London Marathon
The 2010 Virgin London Marathon makes Bobbot giggle a bit. He’s a silly kind of robot, really.
Is Bob running? Highly unlikely.

VR Centre for the Built Environment
Once you get into U.S.A. it’s very hard to get out. There’s just too many fat people blocking all the exits. In fact he hasn’t been out of the country since Jump 45 when he had a brief visit to Australia.
But then, at Jump 163, Bobbot lands on a page by the University College London. It’s raining. It always is in England.

Delicious
Bobbot remembers when he was young and Web 2.0 was the mother of all buzz words. Delicious was the next big thing back then. Then most people realized they could live without it. There are always people who are slow though, so Delicious appears to still exists.

Ever since his early teens has Bobbot wished he could speak Spanish. Mostly because he wants to understand all the nuances of the contemporary pop song Bailando. There was something with the language that did not compute however so Bobbot never learnt to read or write so well, but he can play the guitar just like a ringing a bell. That counts for something.
There are lots of beautiful photos on javi_indy’s Flickr photostream though, so there are several thousand words Bobbot understands right there.

Cafe Press
After the Internet told Bobbot over and over and over again to go get a job through lots of career and job sites Bobbot finally got away and ended up on The Free Dictionary’s Cafe Press store. Bobbot would have got one of those “Defintion of ‘Knowledge’” t-shirts if only they had one he could get his head through without tearing up the shirt.
Bobbot is not T-shirt compatible, it seems.

Bobbot also got some remote maintenance done after he repeatedly tried to download and make sense of a zip file from Wordpress. Bob isn’t compressed! Or so we hope, it’s difficult to breathe otherwise.

The Sacramento Bee
Bobbot is in love. Laura Chick! Bobbot can’t get enough of watching the photo of her, posing in her office, at The Sacramento Bee.
But as Bobbot is professional, he will supress his feelings and move on. When you’re on a quest, you’re on a quest – as the saying goes.
